Ingredients for 4-6 portions:
- 4 tbsp olive oil or canola oil
- 3 chopped shallots or 1 chopped onion
- 2 cloves of garlic -chopped
- 1 pkg Tekoa Farms Ptitim and Mushrooms mix
- Salt to taste
- A pinch of black pepper
- 400 ml boiling water
Method:
Heat the oil in a medium size pot. Sauté the onions/shallots until golden. Add the Pearl Couscous Mushroom & Vegetable Mix, garlic, salt and pepper. Stir and sauté for another minute. Add the water, stir and cook partially covered on low heat for 6 minutes with occasional stirring. Close heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork and serve.
